Not long till we head out to Ecuador

This Saturday George Shi, Angharad Roberts and I will fly out to Ecuador to commence our Ecuador volcano climbing expedition.

For me, this expedition is all about training at altitude for an attempt on Everest in 2013.

The three of us aim to attempt the following summits:

Fuya Fuya (4279 meters, 14,039 feet) located at 0° 8′ 1” N; 78° 17′ 36” W

Volcán Imbabura (4621 meters, 15,161 feet) located at 0° 15′ 16” N; 78° 10′ 50” W

Volcán Cayambe (5790 meters, 18,996 feet) located at 0° 1′ 31” N; 77° 59′ 20” W

Volcán Iliniza (5241 meters, 17,195 feet) located at 0° 39′ 47” S; 78° 42′ 58” W

Volcán Cotopaxi (5897 meters, 19,347 feet) located at 0° 40′ 50” S; 78° 26′ 17” W

And George and I are staying on to also attempt:

Volcán Chimborazo (6267 meters, 20,561 feet) located at 1° 28′ 1” S; 78° 49′ 3” W
